    Very good

Health club facilities, unpretentious and friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely, I was a woman alone at breakfast and felt fine sometimes this isnot the case at some hotels. Waiting staff friendly.

    room felt basic

    Superb

It felt wonderful driving up to the front entrance and I can see why couples might choose the venue for weddings.

Lovely surroundings, adequate room, good value for money

  • 6.4
    Good

The peace and tranquility of the setting

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the old four poster frame creaked and squeaked and the slightest movement. I am a light sleeper and was kept awake because of the listed problems.

    Superb

I enjoyed the gardens, lounge & gun room. I was looking for a quiet room to read, but the library was locked and set up for breakfast, however, a lady opened the room for me. The pool and sauna were good.

I stayed in the lodge for one night which was fine, but I would have liked to stay in the main building. The lodge rooms aren't large.

    Fabulous

The hall and grounds are impressive. The food was very good in the restaurant. Improved leisure facilities including good size pool.

It was a long walk up to the room on the 2nd floor so would not suit older folks.

    Very good

It was a good stop point for my business I had in Oxford the next day

The room in the lodge was I bit small, Specially if you were a couple staying.

the hall was nice, the grounds brilliant, but the rooms in the lodge were very small.I had a lamp over the bed that every time i turned over i had to be very careful not to knock it off, also a 13amp wall socket on the headboard? we moved the bed sideways.

    Very good

We liked the quiet country location, setting, food and staff pleasant. Good value for money as B & B for visiting Blenheim Palace.

We did mention at checkout that we felt the room was intended as a single. It was very small and dark due to an overgrown tree up against the window. A little busy and noisy with business meetings.

    Superb

    A lovely hotel, and setting.

How can we let you know if you do not want complaints.Unfortunately we did not sleep well. The bed was very creaky, everytime my husband or I turned over it woke us up. A scew should have been screwed into the wall, it was loose, room 39. You should investigate this.

    Superb

although arriving at Eynsham hall fairly late we were allowed access to the swimming pool, which provided free towels. Breakfast was of a very high quality, offered tea and coffee immediately as we got to table and buffet breakfast was fresh and replenished quickly. Great selection of fresh fruit.

The only issue we had was the sound of the boiler/heater unit every time anyone in the building went for a shower. Although this wasn't really loud it was quite early in the morning when we didn't have to leave till later.

    Superb

Beautiful venue with good facilities and great choice at breakfast

  • 7.4
    Very good

If we had read the reviews of Eynsham Hall before we booked we would have missed a very enjoyable evening (we unfortunatly had only booked for one night) We stayed in the Hall and was shown to quite a large room overlooking the driveway and front grounds. The bathroom was also quite large with all the amieneties. We took dinner in the Hall dining room there was adequate choice beautifully cooked and presented. After dinner we took coffee and drinks in the superb Gun Room The only down side was there is no lift (hence no stars)and for older patrons it could be a challange carting luggage up three flights along long corridors to your room.apart from that great value

  • 7.4
    Very good

Lovely parklands and surroundings. Good blend of traditional and modern decor.

Some of the furnishings a bit "tired"

  • 10.0
    Exceptional

The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was really nice, superb views from our window. The food was delicious and again the staff were very polite and helpful. The surroundings were peaceful and the location was excellent for sight seeing. We really had a lovely relaxing stay.
